This collection, from one of today's most acclaimed hymn writers, offers new words for 30 psalms, many set to well-known tunes. Psalms gave the Christian community its first hymns. Indeed, the Hebrew name for our Book of Psalms means 'Songs of Praise'. In many Anglican churches today, the chanting of psalms is becoming a lost art.
