A slightly older contemporary of John Dunstable, Lionel Power was a characterful and influential composer who played a crucial role in the development of the cyclic Mass. Perhaps dating from the 1420s, his Mass Alma redemptoris mater is one of the earliest to have survived. For three solo voices or very small choir, ATT or TBarBar. iv + 14 pages.
