Probably Josquins best-known Mass, this late work displays great eloquence and technical resource. Each movement is based on the plainchant melody to which its text was sung on Marian feasts. The Kyrie and Gloria are in four voices; the other movements are in five. This transposed edition is designed for SATB and SATTB/SAATB choir. vi + 37 pages.
