Easy Epiphany carols or anthems are thin on the ground, and often needed given the demands on choir time before Christmas. This new, straightforward setting is to be welcomed. Choir conductors will need to do their homework before the first rehearsal and check that they know how the 3/8 and 2/4 bars alternate, and when there is a second 2/4 bar at the cadences. But that difficulty is only for the conductor - singers will find it easy and enjoyable to sing.
