David Thorne is an accomplished Musician, Composer, Arranger and Teacher whose career has included performing in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and composing and arranging music for the visit of Archbishop Desmond Tutu to Portsmouth.

He has been a regular contributor to Television and Radio, making his first appearance on the BBC’s World Service at the age of 15, accompanying Exeter Cathedral Choir. He directed the choir and congregation on ITV’s “Dial a Hymn” from Portsmouth Cathedral in 1989, and was a regular contributor on Radio 4’s “Daily Service” and “Sunday Half Hour” as accompanist, conductor, arranger and composer.
