This piece is extremely flexible with two refrains ÔÇô one for use in Ordinary Time and one for the season of Advent. There are five verses when the piece is used as a gathering song and another set of five verses for the Communion procession. Regardless of what time of year or at what point during the Mass the song is sung, the message is still the same: Come, Lord Jesus.
