Cathedral Press New Editions
The Cathedral Press series extends and enhances the sacred choral repertoire c1540–1770 with performing editions which incorporate high standards of scholarship.
This new series of publications provide scholarly editions of music in the Voice for Life Exam syllabus, providing excellent value for money rather than having to buy hefty collections. Of particular interest is the new edition of Gibbons Second Service Magnificat and Nunc dimittis which incorporates two further voice parts from the manuscript set at Peterhouse, Cambridge which were discovered around 1948, hidden behind a panel in the college library, and not used in other editions.
