Get back to singing!
With big changes to COVID restrictions in England recently and across the rest of the UK there being the sense of new possibilities, it feels like a new chapter is starting. But wherever you are in the world, we will continue to help provide resources for your local context, to enable you to safely resume singing and make the best of music in worship.
Here are some suggestions from RSCM Publications for getting your choirs singing again.
The Kilcreggan Mass has already been taken up by hundreds of choirs across the UK and beyond. It can be sung in a wide variety of ways:
- Solo Cantor and keyboard
- Unison Choir and congregation, with optional descant
- SATB with optional tenors and congregation
- Full SATB Choir with descant, with congregation
- All of the above can be accompanied by instruments
The feedback we have received is that its easy to learn and both choirs and congregations love singing the catchy tunes.

If you find that not all your singers are happy joining in for the moment, try these two wonderful collections for choirs with reduced numbers. All the music for RSCM Carols was written during lock-down. You will find lots of really attractive settings of new and traditional carols.
