Inspiring Music in Worship
Welcome to Inspiring Music in Worship
Inspiring Music in Worship pioneers a new approach for the Royal School of Church Music, for Praxis and for the church. It is a course for everyone, not only musicians. Recognising that worship lies at the heart of Christian discipleship, it aims to inspire and encourage the worship of every local church. Designed to enable leaders of worship (both lay and ordained), musicians and congregations to talk to each other and reflect on worship together, its five guided conversations help to explore differences of tradition and style with honesty and respect. Everyone is invited to begin a process of exploration and discovery that makes the ongoing journey of worship into an exciting adventure.
The on-line resources listed below will expand and complement the materials found in the book. They contain additional information, Bible commentary, practical examples, musical repertoire and links to other useful websites.
