                                 Double sharps and double flats

Just like a sharp or a flat, a double sharp or a double flat lasts until the next barline or until it is cancelled.
  
F double sharp F natural
A natural sign in front of a note following a double sharp or double flat means that the note becomes a natural.
     
B double flat B natural
 
                   A sharp sign or a flat sign in front of a note following a double sharp or double flat means that the note is changed to its (single) sharp or flat version.
You may also see two signs written together, as shown on the right. This also means that the note is changed to its (single) sharp or flat version.
 
