Salisbury Festival Service Magnificat & Nunc dimittis
for The Book of Common Prayer by
Grayston Ives
This setting of the Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis was originally composed using the words from The Alternative Service Book 1980. This new version, using the Book of Common Prayer words, was made at the suggestion of Ben Lamb, Director of Music at Lichfield Cathedral. The Magnificat was first performed at the RSCM Lichfield Area Festival in October 2014.
