DetailsExultet in hac die is an antiphon honouring St Augustine of Canterbury; the otherwise unknown Hugh Sturmy may have written it for Canterbury Cathedral during the 1520s or 30s. William Whytbroke was at Cardinal College with John Taverner in the later 1520s; his antiphon Sancte deus shows many similarities with Taverners own shorter antiphons.
