Brilliant! Couldn't manage without it.
This book is SO useful! All the anthems can be sung with whoever happens to turn up on a Sunday morning - if necessary in unison. But there is a wide variety of styles, arrangements of old favourites as well as new pieces, and sufficient challenge to keep the whole choir interested. We have had it 3 years and have sung 25 different items (many of them 2 or 3 times), despite mostly singing during communion so restricted to the quietish ones! If you are sometimes but not always short of men, this is THE book to buy - we have other books that we've only sung a few things from and could manage without: this is our mainstay. Useful spiral bound copy for the accompanist also available. Excellent value for money.
